Reefers are loaded and unloaded quickly and frequently, making damage difficult to avoid. We’ve spec’d our reefers with an emphasis on durability, while maintaining performance. Stainless steel rear frames, interior liners, and rubber-backed aluminum pallets protect your cargo while staving off damage. But stronger doesn’t mean heavier. Our reefers feature weight-reducing 5” aluminum crossmembers that resist corrosion without decreasing your payload.

XTRA Lease reefers meet the requirements of the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for operating in California.
Side skirts and low rolling-resistance tires are mandatory in California, but their fuel-saving benefits make them effective for all fleets looking to cut fuel cost.
