Whenever you rent or lease a trailer from XTRA Lease, you receive our Excellence Commitment – our written guarantee of great service and high trailer standards.  You can depend on our promises – if we don’t live up to our standards and your expectations, you’ll be compensated – period. 

As part of our Excellence Commitment to you, we’ll:

• Prepare and inspect every over-the-road trailer we rent or lease to ensure it meets our 16-point trailer standards before you receive it.

• Complete all outbound inspections to meet our standards with your driver in 15 minutes or less, or your first rental day with us is free.

• Warrant tires and component parts on every over-the-road trailer used under normal operating conditions for the term of your rental (on net/net agreements, for 90 days from the date of your rental/lease). Notify us within 24 hours of tire or component failure, and we'll take care of it.

• Respond with our in-house RoadWatch^TM 24/7/365 emergency road service*. If your issue is tire-related, your driver will be on the road again within three hours of calling RoadWatch or we'll credit your account $60 for each additional hour you're delayed, up to $150.

• Use our Repair Cost Standards and Equipment Maintenance Management software to handle trailer damages with accuracy, consistency, promptness and fairness. For repairs less than $500, we'll charge our Repair Cost Standard (the fair market cost to repair the trailer), with no service charge or any other mark-ups. For repairs greater than $500, we'll get two estimates and charge you the lower of the two, with no service charge or any other mark-ups.
