Standard Service Agreement
For just a few pennies per mile, XTRA Lease provides maintenance support to meet your intensive service requirements at cost-effective levels.
XTRA Lease provides all preventative maintenance, federal and provincial inspections, RoadWatch emergency road service and all normal wear repairs, including parts and labor. We stay on top of trailer record-keeping and rigorous inspection checks so you can spend more time servicing your customers. Plus, our standards and attention to detail for keeping trailers in road worthy condition mean you get the most reliable equipment performance.
We also offer service options available for a fee that enable you to meet unique equipment requirements, such as:
- On-site maintenance and repair service
- Trailer washes (subject to location)
- Shorter maintenance intervals
- Estimated mileage charge. Provide us a monthly estimate of your mileage to help spread your costs effectively.
Net/Net Service Agreement
You may decide you want to handle maintenance on your leased XTRA Lease trailers yourself. With a Net/Net service agreement, there is no mileage charge on your trailer.
Instead, you're responsible for all maintenance and service. With Net/Net, we will assess tire and brake wear upon the trailer's return. If you return a trailer with the same tread and brake depth, XTRA Lease will not charge for wear.
If an emergency arises, XTRA Lease can still provide maintenance and service to your trailers for a service fee.
You'll still have access to RoadWatch™ emergency roadside service, but each call will include a service fee. And with an Optional Maintenance Deposit, you can set up a reserve fund to offset unexpected trailer repairs at the end of your lease.
