We conduct regularly scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) to ensure the safety and peak performance of our trailers. Our PM program
includes a series of checks made periodically on every trailer.
The PM frequency depends on either the state or province and the type of rental or lease agreement. Our policy is to conduct a PM
and FHWA (U.S.) or Provincial Inspection (Canada) at the same time. PM inspections are scheduled every 6 months or 25,000 miles. We
also conduct PMs on reefer units annually or every 1500 hours.
You can schedule PMs more frequently based upon your individual requirements or on a predetermined schedule specified within your
rental or lease agreement.
Our PM program includes:
- A 30-point inspection on every trailer including tires, air system, suspension, tandems and more
- A 54-point inspection on a single-temp reefer unit
- A 59-point inspection on a multi-temp reefer unit
We conduct most PMs at a local branch, however, if specified in your lease agreement, you can schedule PMs at your yard or other
location. Our mechanics use our state-of-the-art Mobile Repair Vehicles (MRVs) equipped to handle PM requirements.
