Maintaining leadership in the trailer leasing business takes all kinds of skills. In the
St. Louis office, you'll find information technology, marketing, human resources and
finance.
Our branches serve customers through five positions:
Operations Manager - audits branch activities such as approving repairs, repair
estimates and outside vendors. Operations Managers also insure trailer inspections are
within XTRA Lease's standards and manage training and employee development.
Operations Assistant - starts the maintenance process by performing trailer
inspections, preparing work orders and tracking repairs. To service customers, s/he
generates rental agreements, prepares credit applications and handles trailer reservations.
Mechanic - performs safety inspections and subsequent preventative maintenance,
including repairs to air, electrical, brake and suspension systems, door/floor patching,
minor welding and interior repairs.
Branch Sales Manager - conducts sales activities in a local territory, uncovers
customer requirements and manages company resources to exceed customer expectations. Branch
sales managers also have significant managerial responsibilities such as financial control,
employee development and branch staffing.
Sales Representative - conducts sales activities in a local territory including
prospecting and uncovering new customer requirements. Sales reps spend only an hour or two
at the branch daily.
