Our branches serve customers through five positions:
Branch Manager—Overall responsibility for branch performance. Conducts sales activities in a local territory, develops new customers and manages company resources to exceed customer expectations. Branch sales managers have significant managerial responsibilities such as financial control, employee development and customer service.
Assistant Branch Manager—Conducts sales activities in a local territory including prospecting and growing customer base. The Assistant Branch Manager is an entry level sales position that serves as a career ladder to a Branch Manager position. This position also teaches branch operations, customer service skills, and employee development.
Operations Manager—Responsible for branch activities such as approving repairs, repair estimates and outside vendors. Ensures trailer inspections are within XTRA Lease's standards and manages training and employee development.
Operations Assistant—Duties include performing fleet inspections, preparing work orders, and tracking trailers. This entry level operations position is a “hands-on” role and is the career ladder for the Operations Manager position.
Mechanic—Performs safety inspections and subsequent preventative maintenance including repairs to air, electrical, brake and suspension systems, door/floor patching, minor welding and interior repairs.
